Welcome to the portal that explores process management and standards for effective food safety and quality. FoodSQM is the result of a group of us who developed and presented the symposium, "Global Supply Chain Quality and Food Safety Management" at the IFT annual meeting in 2006.

We have built a forum that enables the fusion of the topics -

  • Prerequisite programs and HACCP
  • Process management using methods such as SPC and six sigma
  • Modern standards such as ISO 22000 and ISO 9001
  • Building dependable, auditable food safety and quality systems

One of the portal's features is current news topics and articles by industry experts. FoodSQM members can participate in discussions and post their commentary on food safety and quality management topics. The editorial board includes industry experts including the members of the US delegation to the ISO 22000 working group.
